Rail Freight Services

The area served in China extends from Manzhouli to Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian, Yingkou, Tianjin/Beijing, Qingdao and Shanghai / Suzhou (in north – eastern China) and Chongqing and Chengdu (located in the central-southern area of the country).
In South Korea, we serve the areas of Pusan and Incheon, using short connections by sea. Thanks to reduced transit time, our service becomes advantageous also for all the central and southern zones of China, covering all the main industrial districts.

WHY CHOOSE THIS SERVICE?

Reliability

Our service is particularly in demand from companies for which time and reliability are fundamental requisites. Our clients benefit from high standards of service and punctual deliveries, both for regular transport and for occasional consignments.

Traceability

Unlike sea shipment services, our customers can know, day-to-day, accurate container positioning through daily reports that provide detailed information on the area crossed and the km/miles to travel before reaching the destination. If more detailed updates are required, the containers can also be equipped with GPS devices or other systems.

Transport Documents

A unique documentation system allows transport with minimal interruptions along the Trans-Siberian route and at the borders. The Cargo Manifest replaces the usual documents and summarizes the information of the transport document and invoice, ensuring simplification of transit operations. All the documentation is submitted exclusively in digital format.

Advantages & Benefits

Srint’s rail freight solutions are an alternative to sea and air freight as they offer many benefits, notably the best speed-for-price ratio, with the added benefits of sustainability, safety, and load capacity.

THERE ARE MANY ADVANTAGES:

• Transit times (3 weeks instead of 6 by sea);
• Substantial savings with respect to air freight;
• Shorter booking/supply chain / lead-times;
• Better respect for the environment;
• Use of 40ft HC COC and 40ft DV containers;
• Daily tracking;
• Door-to-door service;
• Frequent departures.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Rail transport contributes to significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions and is thus one of the most environmentally-friendly transport modes. The Srint Group route uses electrified railway networks powered largely by hydroelectric plants. Railways also contribute to reducing serious congestion affecting the ports involved in container trade between East and West by shifting containers from trucks to the railway network.

SAFETY

Because our service is used mainly for urgent cargo, reliability and safety are essential requirements.
Srint Logitics can guarantee all this due to our many safety measures, which are an integral part of our transport process.
What makes our service so safe?
• Daily tracking;
• At-terminal surveillance;
• Escort service that accompanies the trains in the territory of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States);
• RFID monitoring;
• GPS devices available on request for high-value goods.
Our containers can pass along the wide-gauge section (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) with minimal interruptions, customs controls, and deviations – issues that had previously made the land route impractical. Our customers can also monitor their containers along the entire route, as their location is electronically controlled at 37 points (RFID monitoring).

DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE

In recent years, Srint Logistics has gained experience and broadened its services by extending them to road transport (in containers and bulk products), to short sea shipping, on-site services (customs clearance, unloading) and to heavy-loads handling.
